Mrs. New
Jersey 2007, Heather Cunningham has conducted interviews with CN8 TV and CBS
TV regarding her platform, Project GIVE,
and her ability to thrive despite her
diagnosis with Lupus. She also
received the prestigious honor of being a
Wish Grantor for the Make-A-Wish
Foundation. Most recently, she
shared special moments with children from
the Vineland Boys & Girls Club, and
helped fight crime during the National
Night Out Against Crime. In the
coming weeks, she will be participating in
a series of Walk/Run events benefiting the
American Heart Association, Make-A-Wish
Foundation and Alzheimer's Association. |

Mrs.
Burlington County 2008 will be
participating in her school district's
Volley for Support Tournament (fundraiser
for Children's Hospital), walking the MS Walk,
and running an ASPCA educational campaign
(Go Orange for Animals) with her animal
welfare club. She will also be
participating in the Wag N Walk to raise
funds for The Animal Orphanage. Her
animal welfare club is also organizing an
adoption event for early May, she
continues to
volunteer at the AWA shelter, and schedules guest speakers for children's events such as local police
K9 unit demonstrations. She recently
participated in a St. Patrick's Day
parade, will appear next at the Dishes for
Wishes event benefiting the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of New Jersey, and in the
summer, she will be organizing an event
with the Mrs. NJ US Org to hold a Miss & Mr.
Rescue Pet Animal Show, with proceeds
benefiting animal welfare. |

Mrs.
Camden County 2008 is a member of the AAA
Mid-Atlantic Volunteerism Committee, and
through this committee, she works on a
multitude of causes ranging from a
corporate environmental program to
Daffodil Days for the American Cancer
Society. She is also a motivational
speaker through presentations to school
and community groups. She will be
appearing next at the Dishes for Wishes
event benefiting the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of New Jersey. |

Coast |
Mrs.
Central Coast 2008 is an active volunteer
at Airport Plaza Chiropractic Center. She
helped to organize a Thanksgiving Food
Drive with St. Vincent De Paul's Society
of Holy Family Church and "Pictures
with Santa" sponsored by the United
States Marine Corps and benefiting the
"TOYS FOR TOTS" Program.
In the coming days, she will be
participating in the Dishes for Wishes
event benefiting the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of New Jersey. |

Valley |
Mrs.
Delaware Valley 2008 served our nation in
the Air Force Reserves and was deployed to
Saudia Arabia during Operation Desert
Storm. She currently volunteers her
time at a domestic violence hotline, and
provides computer support at her
children's school. She also donates
to missions and community outreach through
her church. In the near future, she
will be participating in the Dishes for
Wishes event benefiting the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of New Jersey. |

Windsor |
Mrs.
East Windsor Township 2008 began tutoring children as a
member of Next Level (a support group for
underprivileged at-risk children).
She also participated
in a Gold's Gym grand opening, attended the
Mercer County Heart Walk Celebration, was a
guest speaker for career day at the Kreps
Middle School, and attended an event at the
Womenspace Communities of Lights. She most recently appeared at the
Nineteenth National African-American
Read-In, an AHA Healthy Heart Jump Rope, the March of Dimes Annual
Walk, an Easter Egg Hunt and St. Patrick's
Day Parade. She will soon be
appearing at her local Senior Citizens'
Day and Arts & Crafts Show, the Dishes
for Wishes event benefiting the
Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey, as
well as a gala dinner benefiting the
HiTops Program.. |
| Essex |
Mrs.
Essex County 2008 is being featured in her
local newspaper for the program she
started called "Operation Welcome
Home," which welcomes soldiers back
to the United States. She also supports
the Washington Crossing Foundation, which
honors our nation's history and United
States veterans. She currently
coaches girls softball, and also created
the St. Cassian's Baton Club. In the
upcoming weeks, she will be appearing at
the Dishes for Wishes event benefiting the
Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey. |
| Mercer |
Mrs.
Mercer County 2008 was the keynote speaker
at the "Heartland in High Heels"
Inaugural Women's Conference, and recently
attended the MS Lobby Day to the Capitol
in Trenton. She was also recently
featured on the National MS Society's
website for the Mid Jersey Chapter. In the upcoming weeks
she will be attending an Alzheimer's
Awareness Champagne Brunch and Silent
Auction, and will be busy organizing her
team since she serves as the Team Captain
for the "Friends of Mary" team
at the annual National MS Walk. |
| Monmouth |
Mrs.
Monmouth County 2008 volunteers annually
for local food and clothing drives.
She also donates her time and services for
underprivileged teens who are interested
in competing in pageants to help bolster
their self-esteem. She will also be
participating in the Dishes for Wishes
event benefiting the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of New Jersey. |
