2011-10-03 Mrs. New Jersey 2011 graces New Jersey Fashion & Beauty Week!  Catherine Zalewski was on the scene to add pageant panache to this prestigious event featuring New Jersey's hottest emerging trends in fashion, hair styling and accessories.  Visit the New Jersey Fashion & Beauty Week website to find out more information about this must-see event!.  A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Diabetes Research Institute  to help raise awareness and funds for research to find a cure for juvenile diabetes.
2011-05-20 Mrs. New Jersey Pageant highlighted on News 12 NJ!  The 2011 contestants were treated to a fabulous dinner sponsored by Trump National Golf Club in Colt's Neck, NJ as they prepared for the 2011 Pageant held the following day.  Claire Pavlinec, Mrs. New Jersey United States 2010, was interviewed, and our reigning Mrs. United States, Rachel Juillerat who served as emcee for the pageant, was also on hand to enjoy the delicious entrees, capped off by a custom made Mrs. New Jersey banner and crown cake, donated by Kimmee Masi of Confections of a Rock Star bakery.
2010-11-02 Mrs. New Jersey 2010 featured on News 12 NJ!  Claire Pavlinec was interviewed on News 12's "Spotlight NJ" discussing her platform, Maternal Wings, and her experiences as Mrs. New Jersey United States 2010.
2010-09-01 Mrs. New Jersey 2010 appears on the Dr. Oz show!  Claire Pavlinec added her own unique perspective to the show's topic for the day, "Women Turning 40!"

Camden Mrs. Camden County 2011 is a spokesperson for her local congressman's office and has given a presentation on "Education Around the World" at Camden County College.  She has volunteered and raised funds for numerous events and charities, including Go Red For Women, Borders Book Store Benefit Days, Stickers for Charity, International House of Ukraine, St. Jude's Hospital,  and the America's National Teenager Organization.  She is also a member of the Winterthur Museum and the American Federation of Teachers.
Howell Mrs. Howell Township 2011 is an advocate and supporter of the Lupus Foundation of America, and is featured on their "Pages of Hope" for her fundraising and awareness efforts through Crafty Women Parties, VFW Craft Fairs and Townwide Garage Sales.  She also donates the proceeds from her HomeSweetHome Quilts Ebay Store pillow and quilt sales to the Lupus Foundation.
Mercer Mrs. Mercer County 2011 is a supporter of the American Heart Association, and participated in the Heart Ball, Health Fair, and "Go Red For Women" Day, Philadelphia Science Fair and sponsored Healthy Lifestlye Awareness sessions.  She modeled in New Jersey Fashion Week benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and participated in other fundraisers to benefit Haitian earthquake victims, and Queen For A Day program participants, in addition to donating money to the ASPCA and UNICEF. 
Middlesex Mrs. Middlesex County 2011 is a PACE parent/activist for her children, community, and for children with special needs. She is also in training to join an Emergency Response Domestic Violence Team and organized/fundraised for a high heel run/walk to benefit emergency response victims of domestic violence.  She recently assisted in "Special Day" financial assistance program for high school students attending their Prom, started the "Celebrate You" survivors program, and helped organize a "Passion for Fashion" community fashion show benefiting Relay For Life.  She previously helped the mayor of Woodbridge  restock food pantries by collecting/distributing 2,000 lbs of food and was highlighted on local TV for her community outreach.
Monmouth Mrs. Monmouth County 2011 serves as a spokesperson for the Rocky Marciano World Foundation "Bullying: We're Kickin' It" Organization, and assisted t the Showtime Strikeforce Event to raise anti-bullying awareness.  She has spoken about bullying in front of the Monmouth County Board of Education, and will be a featured speaker at the Women's Empowerment Reinvention Connection Event. 
Neptune Mrs. Neptune Township 2011 is a support of clean and green environmental living, and helps people in need in her community as a volunteer for children's activities either as a teacher or a member of the PTA.  She also collects food for her local school food drive "Project Eat."  Most recently she served as a judge for the Toms River Elks Club $1.98 Men's Pageant benefiting Camp More for children with disabilities.
Ocean Mrs. Ocean Township 2011 collects clothing for her son's school clothing drives as well as for the homeless people who enter the unit at the hospital where she currently serves as a nurse.  She also provides blankets for dogs in her local shelter, and most recently she served as a judge for the Toms River Elks Club $1.98 Men's Pageant benefiting Camp More for children with disabilities.
Passaic Mrs. Passaic County 2011 fights world hunger as a sponsor for multiple children through Child Fund International and the Christian Children's Fund Community.  She is also an advocate for clean and renewable energy to combat the devastating effects that global warming is having on the planet and human civilization.  She is a registered nurse pursuing her master's degree so she can continue helping others in any way that she can.
Somerset Mrs. Somerset County 2011 volunteered at New Jersey Fashion Week benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and has participated in a number of volunteer events at her local YMCA.  She and her husband serve as an ambassador family for the March of Dimes, and are tasked with speaking and fundraising engagements throughout the state.  She most recently formed a team and walked in the March for Babies supporting the March of Dimes.
Warren Mrs. Warren Township 2011 was invited to The Comprehensive Autism Medical Assessment & Treatment Center of NJ in Warren, NJ to share the American Heart Associations updated approaches to heart healthy lifestyle choices and how they can be integrated into their work with Autistic clients. She  is also the founder of New Dawn Counseling & Wellness Center, LLC and a licensed Marriage & Family Counselor who works with families struggling under the challenges of having an Autistic family member. She looks forward to working with the Autistic Treatment Center in the near future, providing counseling therapies to the families and affording them opportunities to learn new coping strategies.
