Mrs. NJ 2011 adds glamour to New Jersey Fashion and Beauty Week!
Mrs. NJ 2011 made a celebrity guest appearance at 2011 New Jersey Fashion and Beauty Week, which benefited the Diabetes Research Institute. The event was held on October 3rd & 4th at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange as we celebrated New Jersey style while raising funds to help find a cure for juvenile diabetes. Mrs. NJ featured as celebrity fashion modes during New Jersey Fashion Week!
Mrs. NJ 2010 graced the catwalk at the 2010 New Jersey Fashion Week event benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure. The event was held on October 10th & 11th at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange as we celebrated Garden State style while raising funds to help find a cure for breast cancer. Mrs. NJ 2009 attended a ceremony to honor the newest group of people to be sworn in as judges in the New Jersey judiciary system. Participating in the Newark, NJ event was New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine.

Mrs. NJ and local contestants join sponsor Windsor Nissan and Roma Bank for celebrity networking event with comedian Joe Piscopo and East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov!
Mrs. NJ 2008 and some of the 2009 contestants show some love to our sponsor, Windsor Nissan who co-hosted a networking event with Roma Bank. The titleholders weren't the only celebrities on the scene, as East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov was engaged to support the event, and even comic celebrity Joe Piscopo to add his unique brand of humor to the evening. The event showcased the vast selection of vehicles and expert service of Windsor Nissan, as well as the flexibility and reliability of one of New Jersey's longstanding community banks, Roma Bank. Mrs. NJ promotes health awareness with Gold's Gym, Garden State Woman Magazine, and NBC News's Chief Medical Editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman!
Mrs. NJ 2008 supports local business through a special appearance at the Gold's Gym - East Windsor Open House Weekend. In keeping with Evelyn's platform, "Healthy, Happy and Wise", she works to encourage physical health through exercise to prevent problems such as heart disease. She also served as a special celebrity host for the Garden State Woman Education Foundation 4th Annual Health & Wellness Conference and Networking Event where she shared the stage with NBC News's Chief Medical Editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman.
Mrs. NJ and local contestants round the bases to hit a home run against heart disease with the American Heart Association of New Jersey!
Mrs. New Jersey 2008 Evelyn McCleod, Mrs. North Dakota 2008 and contestants from the 2008 Mrs. New Jersey Pageant shared used America's favorite pastime to raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association. All decked in red, they greeted the public, served food, signed autographs and helped with the donation drives, while promoting the AHA's Heart Walk program. The Mrs. New Jersey Organization will be participating in multiple Start! Heart Walks throughout 2008-2009 in support of Evelyn's platform, "Happy Healthy and Wise," which promotes substance abuse resistance, healthy lifestyles (especially heart health), and the education programs associated with them.

This is a great event where our reigning Mrs. New Jersey and our 2008 contestants will join local celebrities and television personalities in serving "dishes" from the hottest South Jersey chefs in a fundraising event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.. This will be a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with Philadelphia and South Jersey radio and television news personalities while sampling gourmet foods, and raising money for a cause very near and dear to our reigning Mrs. New Jersey, Heather Cunningham. Mrs. New Jersey Org partners with Project GIVE to host cabaret benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NJ!!

On Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Rider University a fundraising concert called "Cabaret for a Cause" was jointly sponsored by the Mrs. New Jersey United States Organization and Project GIVE to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
This fantastic evening featured: Mrs. New Jersey United States 2007, Heather Cunningham! Mrs. United States 2007, Stephanie Hunt! Fabulous performers that have appeared in venues ranging from Disney World and Opryland to Casinos and The Apollo! A theme of "A Night for Children" which paid homage to the special children we will support through Make-A-Wish Foundation! A silent auction featuring valuable prizes at incredible, tax-deductible auction prices!
Through the hard work of many, and the generous donations of some truly special individuals and local businesses, the organization raised over $3000 that evening! We would like to publicly thank and acknowledge all those who gave from their heart to support the Cabaret for a Cause. Mrs. New Jersey United States 2007 partners with Limo Digest to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation!!
In support of her platform, Project GIVE, Mrs. New Jersey 2007, Heather Cunningham, will be featured as a special guest at the 2007 Limo Digest Show Achievement Awards Banquet and Annual Charity Auction. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is one of Heather's Project GIVE beneficiary partners, and an organization with whom she and her husband Tom have qualified to become wish grantors, a prestigious honor that affords its inductees the responsibility and joy of presenting wishes to terminally ill children.

During the week of July 4th through July 10th, Heather Cunningham appeared on the Comcast Newsmakers program, discussing the Mrs. New Jersey United States Pageant, Lupus awareness, and her platform "Project GIVE." The segment aired on CNN Headline News station.

Mrs. New Jersey United States 2007 Contestants help Design for a Cure

Mrs. New Jersey 2006 and the 2007 contestants were asked to lend a hand and their glamour to the "Design for a Cure" Charity Event sponsored by Dining Spaces, benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The fundraiser took place at the majestic Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ. Titleholders were asked to help coordinate registration, assist with silent auctions, and add prestige to awards ceremony. The ladies rose to the occasion, as you can see in the photos below! So what is Design for a Cure, you ask? Well, “If You Love Throwing Parties, You’d Love This Event!” They give designers one table, ten chairs, and zero limitations... and you get thousands of creative ideas. Dining Spaces recognizes design excellence with awards for contestants in three different categories of experience. 2005 - Hedy DiCarlo
Mrs. New Jersey United States Pageant participates in DeSimone BMW Ultimate Drive Event
The Ultimate Drive Event is a fundraising event that benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. DeSimone donates use of the BMWs, and then donates $1 to the Foundation for every mile driven. It's a great way to raise funds for a cure to a disease affecting thousands of women - our mothers, sisters, and friends. Our contestants took test drives and encouraged others to take test drives. B101 Radio was there covering the event as well! How often do you get to while away the afternoon behind the wheels of multiple Beamers anyway? Event: DeSimone BMW Ultimate Drive Event (Benefiting Susan G. Mrs. New Jersey United States partners with NARS Cosmetics
Mrs. New Jersey United States 2005, Hedy DiCarlo along with contestants vying for the 2006 title made a guest appearance at special NARS Cosmetics Color and Skincare Extravaganza events called "Viva Las Vegas" at Lord & Taylor in the Freehold Raceway Mall on January 27th and 28th, and at the Willowbrook Mall March 10th and 11th! The Grand Opening of the Kitchen Expo in Flemington, NJ was a terrific event, and Mrs. New Jersey, Hedy DiCarlo, was on hand to add some extra glamour to the celebration!
